Bio

Antonia was born on the year 1999 in Santiago de Chile and grew up in rural Arica, next to the Atacama Desert.

She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her partner Lucas, their two dogs and cat (Twiggy, Miguel and Panchita).

Statement

Her artistic practice unfolds through installation, sculpture and media arts. She draws on her lived experience in both rural northern Chile, metropolitan Santiago and (most recently) New York, to confront contemporary urban aesthetics with new perspectives that engage with contemplative practices.

She seeks to explore the intersections between artistic practice, technologic advancement and nature to open up spaces of conversation and questioning about the ever-changing human experience.
